the smart

decided to pay a visit to the smart while it's free. so off i went since it's only a short drive from where i stay.

the toll plaza is so messy. and there were workers sitting in the booth, opening the barrier for everyone and no toll was collected. rehearsing for the real thing?

moving on, i thought we can see the rounded shape in the rock left by the TBMs at the entrances, but they were rectangular. only inside can one see the rounded ceiling.

few minutes down the bumpy road and it ends at the city centre. not bad, this tube cuts traveling time.

now let's go home the way we came.

it was a short and fun outing. never driven through a tunnel this long before. wonder if that thing i saw along the way was one of the floodgates. should be, i could not stop to find out.

late night muse

what i see around me i don't understand
leaves me wondering if things are out of hand

why would doors that seem open for one moment
can all of a sudden shut tight for no obvious reason?
why am i shattered even though i stayed true
while others have freedom, and they reign and rule?
why some invade and yet acquaintances seem abundant
while respect and proper conduct only makes one distant?

all that and more no doubt it will create
a sense of unjust and a distressing trait
is it just me or is it true
that i am not able and to me this is due?

in a way that the message will impact my viewer
